My gate is slamming, what can I do?

	Gate slamming is not only an annoyance because of the noise but it can also do damage to your gate, fence, hardware or even people. For this reason we recommend using a Gate Stop and Gate Handle. The Gate Stop attaches to the gate (and actually swings with the gate) and it has a rubber pad on it. When the gate closes the rubber pad takes the shock out of the closure. The Gate Handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and it helps keep the wind from yanking the gate out of your hand. Another nice thing about the handle is it encourages people to grab that instead of the gate frame which reduces fingerprints and gate twisting. If your gate is being used as part of your pool barrier, be sure to check with a local code official to see if the gate stop will make your gate fail inspection.
